Our Policies

Thank you so much for being here and for trusting Pure Joy Travel with your vacation. It means the world to us to have you with us & supporting our small business.


We are big on communication and love chatting about your trip details on the phone. After you have filled out the form, the first point of contact will always be over the phone. This way we can get a good feel for what you are wanting and the experience we need to start building. Any official requests, payments, changes, etc must be sent via email - not Instagram or text. We understand that text is the easiest way to send us ideas. Just remember to follow it up with an email to ensure everything gets taken care of. Instagram DMs/Comments, Facebook, and Text won't be accepted as a form of official vacation communication.


We make it a point to answer all questions & requests via email! Right now we have a very small team and a high demand. It may take us a hot minute to get back with you. Once we have spoken over the phone about your trip, new quotes can take up to 1-2 weeks (unless your trip is in the near future and we need to move quick!). For current clients the response time is 1-3 days for general questions. For urgent matters please text, or call & leave a voicemail! So much of our business is done over the phone, or spent on hold with vendors, so always leave a message. We are forever thankful for new clients, because that is the only way this business grows and continues. Our booked clients always have first priority to make sure their trips are being taken care of!

Books Openings & Closures

As a Luxury Boutique Agency, we only take on a certain amount of trips each month to ensure that we give the utmost care & concierge service to each trip booked. There will be seasons where the books are closed and we are not taking new bookings. Book openings will be announced on the Quote Form online & over on Instagram @PureJoyTravel. Since we only take on a certain amount of trips each month, there is always the possibility that certain months will be fully booked and we will be unable to take on new trips.

To our repeat clients - when the books are closed, you will still have access to book with Pure Joy Travel - it is our JOY to work with you over the years and we don't want to miss out on your vacations and continuing to help you create those core memories! Booking & Cancellations

At this time Pure Joy Travel books for free and there is no cancellation penalty from Pure Joy Travel for canceling your trip. We follow the vendors guidelines on cancelations. For example: Disney is fully refundable until 30 days before travel. 29 - 2 days before travel you lose Disney's required deposit of $200, that stays with Disney. At 2 days before travel your trip becomes fully non-refundable. Though we can move your trip to new dates at any time, as long as you have not checked in.

Joy Packages

The Joy Packages are definitely our specialty! They are an optional itinerary planning package for Disney World & Disneyland only. We will take care of every detail from beginning to end!

The Joy Package is non refundable, non transferable and due at time of booking. Though the Joy Packages are non refundable, they do move with you one time if you need to reschedule your trip! If you need to move your trip for a 2nd time to a 3rd set of dates, you will need to purchase the Joy Package again. We only book a certain number of Joy Packages each month, and your spot won't be held until the Joy Package is paid in full. There are group rates available based on the group, or if booking multiple rooms. If you are planning to take a large executive team or school group field trip, let us know as we have special packages and options for you!

Last Minute Joy Packages are due at the time of booking. These packages are completed in one phone call. We will schedule your call to go over resort options in real-time, book your trip, and then I will make your dining/park reservations. Last-minute Joy Packages are only available for trips traveling in the next 60 days or less. If you re-schedule a last minute trip, the Last Minute Joy Package won't follow you to your new dates.

The Planning Process

Our first point of contact will be a phone call. Here we can chat about all the details of your trip and answer any questions you may have about your vacation.

Next we will build a quote for you and send it to you within a week or two. Once you have had the chance to look it over we can make changes or modifications until we find the perfect fit for your travel group!

Finally we will schedule a quick call to take down your billing information and set up your account and officially put down your deposit to book your trip! These deposits vary by vendor/destination.

Yay! You are now booked and the planning can really begin! For most destinations the majority of the planning starts at 60 days before travel when things like excursions, dining, and VIP can finally be booked (Cruises start a bit earlier). Since most people book in advance of at least a few months out, there could be a bit of a waiting period until it's time to really get started planning, but don't worry! We will make sure you have everything you need to get started when the time comes. And you still have your Travel Advocate at your side to answer questions!

For Disney & Universal Destinations, we will schedule an itinerary meeting a week or two before your trip to talk over all the details, so you can travel with peace of mind having all our tips & tricks. Once a part of the Pure Joy Travel family, you always have the ability to reach out with questions, for quotes, or to book your next trip!


  • What if I am already booked?

    That's awesome! We are so excited you have a trip in the works! For most destinations as long as you haven't paid in full and you have booked within the last 30 days you can transfer your trip to an Agent. For Universal you can transfer your trip to an Agent, but we need to grab a 3-Way call with Universal for you to verbally give the go ahead that you are ok with an Agent having access to your trip. Email us at -support@purejoytravel.com- with email titled "Transfer My Trip" and we will get you all the next steps needed, so that we can help make this a smooth & easy process!

  • I am staying offsite and just need help planning, can you help me?

    Unfortunately we can't help with offsite stays or vacations we didn't book. We are only offering Itinerary planning to clients who book onsite vacation packages through Pure Joy Travel.

  • How far in advance should I book?

    Typically 6-9 months is a great time frame!! If you have a very large group and are needing 5 or more rooms, or if you have a very specific Room Category/Resort/Cruise Itinerary that you have your heart set on then I would recommend 1 year in advance.

  • I have a 6mo old, are they too young for a Disney vacation?

    No!! Take the babies! Do all the trips! Here's the thing, we don't know how long we have on this earth. And while cliche, I say - "Seize the Day!" You will never regret taking the trip. Trips with our babies have been some of my favorite trips & memories of all time. I paid for my memories that trip, not theirs. And if I could go back and do it a hundred times over I would!
